Global Presence in the Daysium Portal lists every country where a person's days were logged in the calendar year, with the number of days in each and the dates behind them. Use this article to open Global Presence, see the dates for a country, and open or download the Global Presence report.
Note: Global Presence is for information only, not for tax compliance. It applies no jurisdiction ruleset and makes no day-count determination.
How the days are counted
Global Presence covers a calendar year, from 1 January.
A day spent in more than one country is listed under each of them, so the totals can add up to more than the number of days in the year.
A country recorded only in flight (overfly) is listed with its dates but is not counted as a day present.
Opening Global Presence
Global Presence appears on a person's page, below their day-count rules, under the heading Global Presence. The card lists each country with its number of days, most days first.
If you are a client, open Account in the side menu, then select the person.
If you are an invited adviser, open Clients in the side menu, select the client, then select the person.
Seeing the dates for a country
On the Global Presence card, select a country. A panel opens on the right.
Under Days present, read the dates logged in that country. Each date shows the flags of every country recorded that day.
Use the back arrow at the top of the panel to see all countries, or the cross to close it.
Select the card's title to open the panel with all countries listed.
A date recorded in flight is tagged OVERFLY and greyed out. Hover over the tag to read: Recorded in flight. The point is kept in the record but does not count as presence. The foot of the list gives the total, for example 12 days present · 1 overfly day not counted.
