Understanding Your Day-Count Rules

What each rule card shows — days available or required, days counted, the limit, and whether you are on track or at risk.

Written by Bojana

Open a person's workspace to see the rules they are tracking. Each rule appears as a card, so you can tell at a glance how much room is left and whether they are on track.

What a rule card shows

Each card carries the rule name and tax year, a headline number, and a progress bar:

  • Days available or days required — the headline. Some rules cap your days with a maximum, so the card shows how many are still available before the limit. Others need a minimum, so the card shows how many are still required to meet it.

  • Counted and the limit — how many days have been counted so far, against the maximum or minimum for the rule.

  • Status — On track, approaching limits, or At risk.

A line on the card tells you where the period stands, such as "tax year ends in 120 days" or "this tax year has ended".

Note: Rules are read-only. The days are counted in Daysium Mobile and shown here.
