Exploring the Detail Behind a Rule

How to open a rule and read the day-by-day Explore log, including what each day type means.

Written by Bojana

Open any rule to see the days behind the number — the day-by-day log Daysium used to reach the count.

Opening a rule

On a person's workspace, click a rule card to open it. The panel shows the headline number, the days counted against the limit, and the status. If the period has closed, you will see "this tax year has ended".

The Explore log

Below the summary, Explore lists each day with its date, its day type, and the country or countries you were in, shown as flags:

  • Pre-Daysium — days before you began recording with Daysium.

  • Work — a working day.

  • Exit — a day you left a country.

  • Transit — a day spent passing through.

  • Assumed — a day with no confirmed location, so presence has been assumed. Worth checking.

To see this as a formatted report, click View report.

Note: The Explore log is read-only. The days are recorded in Daysium Mobile and shown here.
