You can invite your adviser to see your account in the Daysium Portal from the Users & access page. This article explains who can send an invite, how to send one, what each status means, and how to resend an invite or remove someone's access.
Note: The Daysium Portal and adviser invites come with the Private Client, Platinum and Family Office memberships. Professional does not include the Daysium Portal. See Who Can Use the Daysium Portal.
Who can invite an adviser
Each Daysium account has one Master, and only the Master can invite people into it or remove them. Your role is shown next to your name on the Users & access page.
If you do not see the Invite user button on the Users & access page, you are not the Master on that account. Ask the account's Master to send the invite.
How to invite your adviser
In the side menu, click Users & access.
Click Invite user at the top right of the page.
Enter your adviser's Email, First name and Last name.
Leave Role set to Advisor. This is the only role offered when you invite someone.
Click Send invite. A message confirms "Invite sent", and your adviser appears in the list on the Users & access page.
If the email address already belongs to someone with access to your account, the Daysium Portal shows "This user is already in the account" and does not send another invite.
If you hold more than one Daysium account, choose the account from the selector under the Users & access heading before you send the invite. The invite applies only to the account selected.
What your adviser receives
Your adviser receives an email with a link to set a password. Once they have set it, they sign in to the Daysium Portal and find your account under Clients. They see the same people on your account that you see. See Your Privacy in the Daysium Portal for what an adviser can and cannot see.
Your adviser does not need Daysium Mobile to use the Daysium Portal.
What each status means
Every person on the Users & access page has a role and a Daysium Portal status:
Active — the person has set up their login and can see your account in the Daysium Portal.
Pending — the person has been invited but has not yet set their password.
Not invited — the person is linked to your account but does not have Daysium Portal access.
The summary line above the list shows how many users the account has, how many are active and how many are invited and still pending.
How to resend an invite
If your adviser cannot find the invitation email, or the link in it has expired, send it again:
On the Users & access page, click the person whose status is Pending.
In the panel that opens, click Resend invite. A message confirms "Invite resent".
Note: The link to set a password is valid for 24 hours. Each resend sends a new link, and earlier links stop working. If your adviser opens a link after 24 hours, resend the invite and ask them to use the link in the newest email.
How to invite someone shown as Not invited
On the Users & access page, click the person whose status is Not invited.
In the panel that opens, click Invite.
In Confirm invite, check that Role shows Advisor, then click Send invite.
How to remove an adviser's access
On the Users & access page, click the person whose status is Active or Pending.
In the panel that opens, click Remove access.
In Remove account access?, click Remove access to confirm. A message confirms "Access removed".
WARNING: Removing access takes the person out of your account, so they can no longer see it in the Daysium Portal. It does not delete their Daysium login. To give them access again, send a new invite.
You cannot remove yourself, and the account's Master cannot be removed from the account.
