Adding notes to your timeline in Daysium effectively enhances your location entries with additional context or reminders. This guide explains how to easily add and manage notes.

Steps to Add Notes:

1. Navigate to the Timeline:

Open the Daysium app and tap on the timeline icon at the bottom to access a list of location entries.

Select the location entry to which you want to add a note and tap the small forward icon on the right side of the entry card.

‼️You can only add evidence and notes to Green Saved Locations. Learn more in our 'How to Accept and Save a Location' article.

2. Add a New Note:

In the 'Evidence' view, tap the '+ New Note' button.

Type your note in the provided field. This could be a reminder, explanation, or additional information supporting the location entry.

3. Save Your Note:

After typing your note, tap 'Save' to add it to your timeline. Your note will be associated with the specific location and timestamped with the date and time it was written.

4. View and Manage Notes:

You can view all notes for an entry under the 'Notes' section in the 'Evidence' view. You can add more notes or edit existing ones by tapping on the pencil icon at the right corner of an existing note.

Notes are a valuable tool for providing additional details or clarifications about your travels. They can be instrumental during tax inquiries where specific explanations may be required.
