Selecting the correct tax rulesets during registration is vital for accurately logging your residency days with Daysium. This guide outlines how to choose your jurisdictions and set pre-Daysium days during registration.

💡This guide shows the process to set Rulesets during the initial registration. If you didn’t set your Rulesets then, read our guides on ‘How to Set Rulesets’ or ‘How to Change Rulesets’.

Steps to Select Your Tax Rulesets:

1. Choose Jurisdictions:

After completing your payment, you will be prompted to select the jurisdictions where you need to count your days. Check all that apply and click 'Continue'.

If your jurisdiction isn’t listed yet, please select ‘Other’. You can still start recording data and strengthen your tax position. We’re constantly updating our available Rulesets.

2. Enter Pre-Daysium Days:

You will then have the option to enter the days you've already spent in the jurisdiction in the current tax year before using Daysium. This step is crucial for maintaining an accurate count from the beginning of the year but can be completed later.

💡Read our helpful guide on 'Understanding Pre-Daysium Days'.

3. Select Applicable Rules:

The registration page will display various tax rules. Activate the rules that apply to you by enabling them to show in the app. This ensures that the Daysium app logs your days according to the correct legal requirements.

4. Finalise Your Setup:

After setting your Rulesets, click 'Continue'. You're now ready to download the Daysium app and begin counting days for tax residency compliance.

With your Rulesets established, you can effectively monitor your days and maintain compliance with the respective tax laws.
