In Daysium, an assumed location is used when there is no recorded location data for a particular day. To ensure your day count remains accurate, we assumes your location is the same as the last place where data was received. This helps maintain a continuous record, but it’s important to review and confirm these locations regularly.

How Assumed Locations Appear in Your Timeline

  • Assumed locations are the Purple Cards on your timeline and they look like this:

  • These locations are automatically created when no new data is available based on your previously logged location.

How to Manage Assumed Locations

To maintain accuracy in your tax residency compliance, we recommend reviewing your timeline regularly.

Accept an assumed location if it’s correct.
Change location if an assumed location if it’s incorrect.

By keeping your timeline updated, you ensure your day count reflects your actual movements, helping you stay compliant with tax residency rules.
