Daysium takes payment through Paddle. If you see a charge from Paddle rather than from Daysium, that is the correct charge for your membership. This article explains Paddle's role, how tax is applied, and where to find your receipt.
Who Paddle is
Paddle is Daysium's payment provider and acts as our merchant of record. That means Paddle is the party you purchase from and the party responsible for charging you, on Daysium's behalf. Your membership and your service come from Daysium; the payment and the tax handling sit with Paddle.
How tax is applied
Paddle calculates and charges the correct sales tax — VAT, GST, state sales tax or the local equivalent — based on the country you are buying from, across more than 100 jurisdictions.
Daysium membership prices are shown before tax, so the tax applicable to your jurisdiction is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
Note: If you are a VAT-registered business buying across a border, enter your valid VAT number at checkout. Paddle will not charge you VAT; your business accounts for it on its own VAT return under the reverse charge.
What appears on your statement
The charge appears from Paddle rather than from Daysium. It is the same payment, taken by our payment provider.
On a card statement it shows as PADDLE.NET* DAYSIUM. If you paid through PayPal it shows as PAYPAL *PADDLE.NET.
Your receipt and invoice
Paddle issues the invoice for your membership and emails a receipt to the address used at checkout. You can also look up your transaction at any time at paddle.net.
If you need a copy, or the invoice needs different details on it, start a chat with us and we will sort it out.
