If a client has invited you into their Daysium account, you can see their day counts and reports in the Daysium Portal in any web browser. This article explains how to set up your access, find your clients, and what you can see and do for each one.
You do not need Daysium Mobile to use the Daysium Portal as an adviser.
Setting up your access
When a client invites you, Daysium sends you an email. If you are new to Daysium, the email contains a link to set your password:
Open the invitation email and follow the link to set your password.
On Set your password, enter your New password and enter it again in Confirm password.
Tick the box to accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
Click Set password and continue.
On Sign in to Daysium, enter your email and new password, then click Sign in. You can return at any time at portal.daysium.app.
Note: The link to set your password is valid for 24 hours. If it has expired, the page shows "This password link has expired". Ask your client to resend the invite from their Daysium Portal, then use the link in the newest email. Each resend sends a new link, and earlier links stop working.
Finding your way around
As an adviser, the side menu shows three areas:
Home — greets you by name, shows your firm and how many clients you have, and lists some of your clients under Recently viewed, with an All clients link.
Clients — every client account you have been invited into, with the type of account and the number of people in it.
Reports — generate a report for any person in any of your client accounts.
Click your name at the foot of the side menu to open Settings or to Sign out.
Opening a client's account
In the side menu, click Clients.
Click the client's name. The account opens and lists the people in it, the same people your client sees on their account.
Click a person to open their records.
If no client has invited you yet, Clients shows "No clients assigned". If a client removes your access, their account no longer appears in your client list.
What you can see for each person
A person's page shows their name, the client account they belong to, and the date and time their Daysium account was activated, in UTC. Below that you will find:
Day-count rules — a card for each rule the person is counting days against, with days counted, the limit and a status of On track or Approaching limits. Click a card to see the days behind it. See Understanding Your Day-Count Rules and Exploring the Detail Behind a Rule.
Global Presence — every country the person spent time in during the calendar year, with the number of days in each. Click a country to see its dates.
History — the button at the top right opens the person's past tax years. See How to Use History to View Past Tax Years.
Calendar — the button at the top right opens the person's calendar, in a Month or Year view. See Using the Calendar.
Note: Everything in the Daysium Portal is read-only. The day counts are recorded in Daysium Mobile by the person and shown here. The Daysium Portal does not show where a person was during a day, and it does not show the evidence they have uploaded. See Your Privacy in the Daysium Portal.
Running a report
In the side menu, click Reports.
Under Client, click the client. This row appears when you have more than one client.
Under Person, click the person.
Click View report next to the rule you need, or next to Global Presence for the calendar year.
To report on a past tax year, click History at the top right of the Reports page once you have chosen a person.
If you open Reports while you are inside a client's account, it goes straight to that client's people.
On a report, click Download report and choose Excel to download it. PDF is shown as coming soon. See Generating and Downloading Reports.
Your settings
Settings shows your firm under Your firm, and your name and email under Your profile. To change your password, click Change password and follow the email we send you.
Only the Master of your client's account can invite people into it or remove them. Advisers do not see the Users & access page.
